Monrovia Art Festival

I had the opportunity to attend my first Monrovia Art Festival this weekend and it was really fun! There was a good variety of local artists and their stuff for looking at or buying, while listening to some local musical artists on stage. The air was cool with cloud cover and Michele, A YEAR OF ART‘s creator, was strategically located under a HUGE shade tree, shared by a very beautiful array of plants and flowers for sale.

Michele took the opportunity to paint the scene, while another friend, Angie, enjoyed her day offering her art for viewing or purchasing a few feet away. Michele even took the opportunity to show a budding young artist how to paint the way she was painting!

All in all it was an awesome way to spend a Saturday morning! I look forward to next year’s festival but wanted to share some of it with ya’ll while it was still fresh 🙂

Peace,
~me
