Happy Summer Solstice!
For my taste today, some words by Ada Louise Huxtable sum it up:
Summer is the time when one sheds one’s tensions with one’s clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit.
A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all’s right with the world.
Today is the Summer Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere – the longest day of the year! Ha ZAH!
So that means that if you were GOING to have a last day of vacation…
I mean, wouldn’t you WANT it to last a little longer?
Heh!
I’m going out to enjoy my piece of it for as long as I can – hope ya’ll have the same opportunity!
Peace,
~me
